All Round analyst role (business / test / database / system analysis) to 8 local government development agencies. We led the team responsible for the overall management of the national testing processes, for each agencies implementation of an executive project management system called Portfolio Director, developed by Artemis International. Starting with a pilot scheme, held in the North West Development Agency (NWDA) in Warrington, we were responsible for the analysis and derivation of the approach to be taken to testing of Portfolio Director (PD) functionality, migration of data from legacy agency systems, and interfaces between PD and agency financial systems (individual project budgets, actual spend, and departmental budgets). This approach used tools developed by amjec ltd, a multi user test management database, and a web enabled Issues database. The methodology put in place at NWDA was then taken nationally to each other development agency. We then supported the national testing programme, visiting offices at various sites around the country, mentoring each agency through the software development and testing life cycle.
